How do I schedule a 1:1 Private Class with Mallo Academy?

Follow these steps to schedule your first class!

1. Purchase a Study Plan Membership

2. Book a class on the Student Portal at your preferred date, time and with a tutor of your choice!

How long are the classes and how often can I take them?

Our classes are designed to be "bite-size" and are 20 minutes long. If you are a learner that benefits from longer classes, feel free to book consecutive sessions.

Our recommendation is that you study shorter classes more often throughout the week to maximise your learning potential!

What level of Korean proficiency do I need to have to take these classes?

We welcome students of all proficiency levels, from beginner to advanced.

Our topic cards and tutors are trained and designed to build a strong foundation for beginners and challenge more intermediate learners!

How do I pay for the classes and what payment methods do you accept?

Payments for memberships are processed through PayPal Checkout. You can choose between debit/credit/PayPal options once you choose your preferred study plan.

Can I choose the tutor I want to have classes with?

Yes! As long as your availability and our tutors' availability lines up, you can choose who to take classes with!

What if I need to cancel or reschedule a class?

We're all about flexibility, and we try to accommodate all of life's unexpectedness. We only ask that you respect our Tutors' times as much as we value yours.

You can cancel any time until 12 hours before your scheduled class, but if you need assistance, you can always contact us through Discord, Instagram, KakaoTalk, or email!

What materials or resources do you provide to help me learn Korean?

What if I have technical difficulties during a class?

To ensure a smooth learning experience, we recommend being in a quiet environment with a stable internet connection. If you experience technical difficulties, please communicate directly with your tutor. If the class is deemed to be unteachable due to internet connection issues, it will be considered a last-minute cancellation, as per our cancellation policy.
